At The Rooted Pantry, we take great care in preparing and delivering our small-batch artisanal provisions—from freshly roasted coffee to nutrient-dense tallows and hand-blended spices. To ensure your pantry staples arrive in peak condition, we adhere to the following shipping standards.
1. Order Processing and Handling

Processing Time: All orders are processed within 2–4 business days.

Tracking: Once your order has been hand-packed or freshly roasted, you will receive a tracking number via email, typically within 3–5 business days of placing your order.

Order Cancellations: Because our milling and roasting processes begin quickly to ensure maximum freshness, cancellations must be requested within 12 hours of purchase.
2. Shipping Rates and Destinations

Destinations: We currently ship to the USA and Canada. We are working on expanding our reach to the rest of the world.

Calculation: Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on the total weight of your order and the delivery destination.

Carrier Partners: We partner with reliable carriers to ensure your provisions arrive safely and efficiently.
3. Delivery and Address Restrictions

Physical Address Requirement: Large bulk orders (25 lbs or more) require a physical street address for delivery and cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes.

Fulfillment: Our coffee is roasted-to-order and shipped directly to you to ensure the highest quality brew.
4. Freshness and Damage Guarantee
We stand by the integrity of our "Modern Alchemist" products. If your package arrives compromised, please follow these steps:

Report Damage: If your items are torn, leaking, or otherwise damaged, please take a photo of the packaging and contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

Resolution: Upon verification of the damage, we will issue a replacement or a full refund immediately.
5. Texture and Transit Observations
Because our products are 100% natural and free from synthetic stabilizers:

Lipid/Tallow Softening: It is normal for tallow products to soften or melt slightly during transit, especially in warmer months. This does not affect the nutritional profile or safety of the product.

Quick Fix: If your tallow arrives soft, simply pop the jar in the refrigerator for 20 minutes to firm it back up to its signature whipped texture.
6. Returns on Food Items
To maintain the highest food safety and integrity standards, we cannot accept returns on food or beverage items once they have left our facility, even if the packaging remains unopened. Non-food accessories may be eligible for return under our separate Refund Policy.
